Thursday evening worship is a new and developing part of our church life. The forty-five minute services have a meditative tone and provide an opportunity for worshipers to stop mid-week and refocus and renew their spirits. Music, scripture, prayer, and an interactive time all add to the feeling that God is indeed present in this place. Bugbee Chapel provides a beautiful setting for the worship service.

GRAVESTONE GIRLS – The Evolution of the American Cemetery

Sunday, March 14 – 2:00 PM – North Cemetery

3:30 P.M. - Room 206

This program will begin with a walking tour in North Cemetery at 2 P.M., followed at 3:30 with a presentation in Room 206 featuring many photos and examples of gravestones (including some from our area) that mark the evolution of cemetery art in America, as well as the thought and theology found in our cemeteries. Those who are interested will also be able to learn the Girls’ safe technique for stone rubbing. $10 donation requested.
